Our Annual General Meeting will take place on Sunday 19th November at 2:00pm.

The President's and Treasurer's Reports and the election of the Committee will be followed by a presentation and a presentation and talk by Jessica Curtain, curator of the BHS costume collection.

The items in the Society’s costume collection are not simply beautiful textiles: each one is a kind of historical record, with memories stitched into their very fabric. In this talk, we’ll delve into the stories of clothing that serve to connect people across oceans and over decades: items made by many hands and passed between many individuals.

The talk will be followed by a Silver Service afternoon tea.
