Explore the stories behind the historic schools, homes and churches of North Road.

We’ll take you through the history of Kamesburgh and its evolution from mansion to veterans’ home to school, and the Bayside City Council’s head gardener will conduct a tour of its spacious gardens.

Other stops will include St James Catholic Church, John Knox Presbyterian Church and Star of the Sea Convent, school and gardens.

Meet at Kamesburgh gates in North Road, just east of New Street, Brighton at 10:30am.

There are some coffee shops close by in New Street to enjoy coffee or lunch.

When: Wednesday 27 September, 10:30am-12pm
Where: Meet at Kamesburgh gates, North Road
Cost: $10 per person (bookings essential)
