Join us on a heritage walk exploring the significant homes of Church Street hill.

 

Postponed – Homes of Church Street Hill heritage walk

The walk that was scheduled for Wednesday 20th March will no longer go ahead.

Church Street Brighton was one of the earliest streets in Dendy’s Brighton Estate.

In 1888, Middle Brighton was described as the residential part of the township, containing numerous pretty villas and handsome mansions, the dwellings of Melbourne merchants and professional men.

On this walk, we will explore some of the significant early homes of Church Street Hill, many dating back to the second half of the 1800s.

Where: Meet outside the Half Moon Hotel, 120 Church Street, opposite Middle Brighton Station
Cost: $10 per person (bookings essential)
